She is instinctive and critically analyses your every move, even a slightest glance during that one hour and gives precise feedback. She steers you through your nervous areas, manoeuvres past tight spots and gears up the acquired skills, and trust me she knows what you are thinking and when you have zoned out. Working with her provides complete freedom of choosing your lesson schedule, which she streamlines to your needs. I had no previous experience of driving and just wasn’t confident especially after hearing about terrible tales of people passing in second or third attempts. I always assumed that when you are learning to drive you’d be in an enviroment that brings constant awkward silences and made you leave the lesson with a headache. Well when I started my lessons with Janine I was proved wrong. Her lessons brought the latest gossip and had a very relaxed and calm ambience. Janine really made me feel comfortable behind the wheel, like I was driving with a friend. When you make a mistake Janine will quickly pick up on it and correct you, but I can guarantee you will not make the same mistake again. Her techniques stick and you’re lessons will soon feel effortless. She really knows her stuff, so when she tells you to look out the back window in reverse, it’s because it will help you, even if you can’t see anything!

”I’ve been taught by two driving instructors. The first one wasn’t bothered whether I passed or failed, (as I found out when I failed my first test quite spectacularly) so for my second attempt I went with Janine instead, who couldn’t have been more different. She’s patient, friendly, lets you learn at your own pace and only recommends you go in for your driving test when you’re ready, not just with regards to whether you can drive but also when you feel confident enough about what you’re doing – the second part is just as important as the first. With Janine’s help I passed my next test with something to spare (I shan’t say I sailed through because it was a driving test, not a boating test).
